Il y a politique de l'espace parce que l'espace est politique.

There is a politics of space because space is political.

Henri Lefebvre

L’Espace Politique is a free-access electronic journal that publishes research in political geography and geo-politics in France and the French-speaking world. Its aim is to encourage the understanding of the political space by presenting theoretical models and conceptual tools applied to all scales, both global and local, but also themes that are relevant to current affairs or the way the discipline is evolving. The fundamental themes of L’Espace Politique focus on notions of space and territory, borders and limits, networks and poles, actors and spatial dynamics, and also include epistemology.

The journal publishes papers in French or English, since N°23 (2-2014) every issue of the Journal is divided into a thematic part and a Miscellaneous so that any scholar may send at any time a paper on any topic in the field of the Journal.
